Trump ordered DHS/ICE via Truth Social on Wednesday morning to suspend their announced temporary suspension of vehicle stops during their brownshirt operations.
After two fatal shootings of people who were not targets of ICE during vehicle stops in the last week, DHS announced a temporary pause in the policy on Tuesday.
By Wednesday morning the backlash from MAGA likely prompted the Presidential Piehole to whine, “we must be strong, tough, and smart, and we CANNOT give up one of ICE’s most important and effective Crime Fighting tools, THE TRAFFIC STOP! Once we do, we are playing right into the criminal’s hands.”
Suddenly Concerned Susan Collins said later in a statement that although ICE needs to improve, eliminating the agency would make the nation less safe.
ICE has been under pressure to up the numbers of arrests and deportations, as immigrants have been advised to stay inside their homes during ICE operations.
