Former celebrity sheriff and Trump endorsed MAGAt, Mark Lamb, easily won his primary in AZ last night to become AZ’s next congresscritter from their 5th District. But, he comes with lots of baggage that in normal times, or the old days, would have tanked his political career but that was another time.
In today’s GOP, MAGAt Mark fits right in with all the other vile and hypocritical men (and the women who protect them) who have been accused of sleeping with underage girls, hiking the Appalachian Trail, rape, other forms of sexual abuse, and racism. He also claims to be a Christian, one of those Family Values guys who are anything but….In other words, he’s checked off all the boxes for the perfect GOP candidate.

Another woman, Tammy Peacock, who died in 2021, publicly claimed that she and Lamb had had an affair and that Lamb had threatened her with a revenge porn investigation for posting about it publicly.
More than likely (and unfortunately), Arizona’s 5th is a heavily Republican-leaning district, meaning Lamb is the presumed front-runner for November’s general election. Lunatic Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), who currently holds the office, is running to unseat Gov. Katie Hobbs (D).
