Vladimir Putin’s favorite U.S. president asked Ukraine President Zelensky to stop targeting Russia’s diesel supplies on Sunday, saying it was causing diesel fuel shortages on the global market.
AAA has put the U.S. diesel average at a record $6.20 a gallon, around 68 percent higher than a year earlier.
Ukraine has stepped up its attacks on Russia’s oil and gas industry which fuels Moscow’s war.
Trump’s golden boy son-in-law Jared Kushner, along with real estate investor Steve Witkoff, have been back at the negotiating table to broker an end the war in Ukraine, and reiterated that the holdup of a peace deal lies with Putin’s desire for Ukraine to give up territory in the Donbas that Russia does not control.
