Trump Administration Messes with Texas to Build His Stupid Wall that Mexico is not Paying for

Since the Idiot in Chief announced his desire to become president in 2015, he conned other bigots and paranoid people that we needed a wall to keep ‘those people’ out of our country. He even convinced them that somehow Mexico would pay for his stupid wall, which Mexico never did nor nor ever will. We the People get to pick up the tab.

Fast forward to the chaos, cruelty, and bigotry on steroids his second reign of terror has bestowed on all of us, the Trump administration has awarded billions of dollars worth of contracts to build some form of infrastructure to deter illegal border crossings in the picturesque remoteness of the Big Bend region, a region that has recorded the fewest illegal crossings along the entire southwest border and people are bigly pissed off, many of whom voted for the Idiot in Chief.

And the company who the (mis)administration awarded more than $5.6 billion in border wall contracts during Trump’s second term in office that We the People will pay for? Barnard Construction, a Montana-based company owned by Tim Barnard, who along with his wife contributed millions of dollars over the years to Republican candidates and causes — including more than $1 million to Trump’s presidential campaigns.

Now, residents in this area, some whose families resided there before Texas became part of the United States, are pissed off because the Trump administration is land grabbing from them through eminent domain proceedings, the federal government’s process to convert private land for public use, if landowners deny access to the construction crews. Not only are they pissed off at Trump, they have vented their outrage at his fellow Republicans, including Gov. Greg Abbott and Attorney General Ken Paxton.
