Kansas Man Arrested For Allegedly Threatening Trump Before MAGA Rally in Wichita
A 24-year-old Kansas man has been arrested and charged with making online threats against Donald Trump in the days leading up to the president’s Monday evening rally in Wichita.
Trump is scheduled to speak at 6 p.m. at Heartland Credit Union Arena in Park City, just outside Wichita. The location of the event for Sen. Roger Marshall (R) was revealed on the Republican National Committee’s website Friday, according to the Wichita Eagle.
Jaden J. Read was arrested Saturday for allegedly writing “Let’s shoot Trump, honestly, where’s our shooter? I’m tired of living this money life,” on Facebook.

It’s the second in a series from the nonprofit newsroom, which last month reported that Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) had also been looked at by the feds in the potential bribery probe of contractor Martin Kao and his company, Navatek. Collins has denied wrongdoing.
