Trump’s Economy: August Jobs Report Shows Hiring has Slowed; Unemployment Rose

August’s jobs report came in and like July’s, it sucks. It shows that hiring has slowed down and the labor market has weakened, which will likely result in the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates later this month. This is the first report released since The Fascist Felon fired the agency’s head, Erika McEntarfer, over accusations of releasing inaccurate data. It is also the fourth month that the report that has shown negative job growth.

But wait, there’s more! The unemployment rate ticked up to 4.3 percent.

Revised data reported by the BLS showed the jobs market actually contracted in June, though it climbed slightly more than initial estimates in July. Combined, employment for the two months is now 21,000 lower than previously reported, the BLS said. The federal statistical agency issues revisions as more businesses and governments provide data and as seasonal factors get recalculated.

On Thursday, The Fascist Felon said that the REAL numbers will come out in about a year, not two weeks.

Pudding Time!

Q: Tomorrow we have a jobs report coming out, the first since the BLS commissioner who you fired. A lot of people will be turning to you to see if you believe the data that's released. Can you commit to saying the data will be credible? TRUMP: The real numbers will be in a year from now

Even Fox ‘News’ cannot spin this mess:

Fox Business is coping hard with another bad Trump jobs report: "That 22,000 number — it's a weaker than expected number, and these revisions are pretty brutal … it's disappointing … there's a lot of concern"

FOX: The August jobs report wasn't the number you wanted. How come? KEVIN HASSETT: The BLS has been struggling with bad response rates FOX: So it's their fault? HASSETT: Well I'm saying we expect this number will be revised up FOX: The revisions for June and July were lower
