White House chief of staff Susie Wiles announced in a statement Monday that she was diagnosed with breast cancer in the past week, adding that the cancer was detected “early” and that she was “encouraged by a strong prognosis.”
Wiles, 68, announced she plans to remain at her job and will begin receiving treatment that will last several weeks in the Washington area. She said an effective team around Trump would ensure there would be no disruptions to the West Wing during her treatment.
Trump posted to shithole Truth Social how happy he was that Susie would remain at her loyal post at the White House.
“During the treatment period, she will be spending virtually full time at the White House, which makes me, as President, very happy!”
Many in the Trump administration sent their thoughts and prayers.
