After Trump denied to reporters that he took down his American Jesus image from social media because of criticism from anti-trans activist Riley Gaines and others, Gaines maintained her love of Trump and said it was “amazing” that he deleted his blasphemous post.
Here is Riley’s reaction to Trump’s post depicting him as Jesus:
Trump later explained to the media that he was “not a big fan of Riley.”
Gaines, who gained fame by criticizing the NCAA for allowing a transgender woman to compete against her in a race she placed fifth, responded on Monday via her podcast The Riley Gaines Show.
“Our purpose on this earth is to glorify Him in all we do. The Truth Social post missed the mark. It’s now deleted. Amazing! We’re imperfect people. I know I am. I don’t get my feelings hurt easy, and I know with the President it’s really not personal. I want to spend eternity in a real place called Heaven. I’d love for Trump to be there, too. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. I’ll keep doing my part by speaking truth & doing my best to lead others to Christ.”
