Batshit crazy MAGA influencer Laura Loomer admitted that she “feels like such an asshole” for minimizing the effects of the war in Ukraine over the last five years, and falling for Russian propaganda that Ukraine was full of Nazi sympathizers.
The historically pro-Russian anti-Ukraine conspiracy theorist is on a tour of Ukraine, landing on Monday as Russia has stepped up its use of ballistic missiles under increasing pressure from Ukraine.
Loomer posted images of herself eating McDonald’s in front of a destroyed building, noting Russia was bombing places where families gather as a deliberate target to disrupt the lives of the resilient Ukrainian people.
She praised President Zelensky.
Zelensky thanked Loomer.
Not to worry, in the same breath, Loomer fell back on another MAGA conspiracy theory: leftists are communists!
Loomer claimed, “Air sirens could very well be the future of America if we don’t start demanding our lawmakers crack down on communism and multipolarity,” and warned, “we won’t have Trump forever and the axis of evil is moving fast.”
Loomer isn’t the first MAGA influencer to change her mind about a MAGA talking point, and she won’t be the last. Influencers are click-driven and money motivated. Who would trust her and who would care what she thinks?
