President Leghorn??

Louisiana Senator John Kennedy, aka Sen. Foghorn Leghorn or Sen. Pitchfork, added his two cents to Trump blasting Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton’s phone number on Truth Social in a beef about permanent Daylight Saving Time.

Kennedy told Kristen Welker on Sunday that Trump “can go from zero to a‑‑hole in about three seconds.”

“Every now and then, there are disputes in Congress that have existential significance for the future of Western civilization. Daylight saving time is not one of them,” Kennedy said.

This may have something to do with his interest in running for President?

‘Damage control’: Phone calls, records suggest some Cornell frat brothers tried to contain ‘gang rape’ allegations

Some of the fraternity brothers later accused of sexual assault at Cornell University attempted to contain the allegations in the weeks following the incident, apparently worried about what would happen to their own reputations and futures on campus, according to text messages, phone calls, and other records reviewed by ABC News.

“Concerns” over the Secretary of War:

Republican senators say they were blindsided by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s announced 20 percent reduction of the U.S. military’s general and admirals, and they’re voicing concerns about the lack of consultation with Congress and the possibility that qualified senior officers were sacked for political or ideological reasons.

  • “I wouldn’t have made that a priority if I had been asked,” said Senate Armed Services Committee Chair Roger Wicker. “I think he’s probably interested in cutting out bureaucracy at the top level,” he speculated.
  • Appropriations Committee Chair Susan (Concerned) Collins said the sudden and large reduction of generals and admirals raises questions and concerns. “I think that we should adhere to a system that has served us well,” she said. “There may be a need to reduce the overall number of flag officers at the Pentagon, but this approach seems to be targeted on ideology. It also disturbs me that there’s a disproportionate number of Blacks and females who are not being promoted,” she added.

Sen. Thom Tillis calls his vote to confirm Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth his “biggest regret” and says Hegseth should resign.
