“Honey Please”: Grifting Guilfoyle Connects with Trump Donor

Kimberly Guilfoyle the dancing gargoyle, who is currently the Ambassador to Greece, was exposed by the Wall Street Journal for begging a Trump donor for hundreds of thousands of dollars to pay on her American Express card on a quid pro quo basis — access to the Trump administration for legal and personal help.

“You could just send it here. It won’t show up anywhere if you wire money to American Express, that’s all that will show,” Guilfoyle wrote to the Trump donor on July 3, 2025. “Please. And I have you down as one of my special guests for my hearing in DC on Wednesday…. I can get you in for a meeting on the matter we discussed please get back to me ASAP.”

“Honey please I need you to get this done for me today,” she said, referring to the payment. Guilfoyle was confirmed as ambassador just months later in September.

We know a lot about Guilfoyle, but who is this Trump donor? His name is Eric Deters.

  • Eric Deters is a former candidate for Kentucky Governor.
  • Deters is also the donor behind Freedom Fest, which was canceled after this year’s headlining event featuring Kid Rock and Dog the Bounty Hunter was unable to sell enough VIP tickets to host the event. Deters claimed he is never doing the Freedom Fest again.
  • Deters is also a lawyer.

As a lawyer, Deters went after Abubakar Atiq Durrani, an Ohio doctor who fled to Pakistan after he was charged with defrauding insurers with unnecessary spinal surgeries on kids.

Representing families of the victims, Deters ran into Dr. Durrani’s malpractice firm, MedPro, who wouldn’t pay for Durrani’s actions.

MedPro countersued Deters citing “a calculated scheme to extract payments” from the company, “at first through abusive litigation, and by ultimately outright extortion through threats of violence and murder and by blackmail against the company’s CEO.”

It was Deters who reached out to Kimberly Guilfoyle, offering her $1 million to get a spot on the Tucker Carlson Show to draw attention to his case.

Guilfoyle made attempts to keep the ensuing conversations from leaving a paper trail.

And Guilfoyle offered a tit-for-tat offer by suggesting Deters pay to the American Express account.

Deters claims he didn’t end up making any payments to Guilfoyle and had “not received one favor.”

When asked what all of this grifting has done to alter his view of Donald Trump, Deters says he likes Trump policies, but it pretty much ends there — except for the ballroom, which he supports.

He doesn’t care about average rank-and-file people unless they’re for his votes. I cannot stand President Trump personally, okay? I cannot stand Kimberly Guilfoyle. Kimberly Guilfoyle is a wicked, evil person. She thought I was gonna be a sucker, and I’m not a sucker. All I can say is, I’m a good dude. Regardless of what Medical Protective says about me, I have fought for 14 years for these Dr. Durrani victims to get justice, and I asked one thing of the Trump administration: extradite him. And they haven’t.

It’s weird that Marco Rubio is in Greece today.
