Katie Zacharia Scaramuccied After Five Days

The latest Girl Friday at the podium, Katie Zacharia, has left the job after only five days of winning.

She was fired after half a Scaramucci.

Anthony Scaramucci was on the job as White House Communications Director in July 2017 for 10 days, and was removed on the 11th day of his tenure. Sean Spicer was the press secretary at that time.

Trump encouraged Zacharia to “reconsider” the job at a presser on Friday, considering she had been treated “very badly” by the press.

“Katie, do you need this? I don’t think you need this.”
