There is a lot going on in the headlines today, some of those we haven’t discussed yet you will find below. Please help us find and share the newsworthy items we’ve missed as we are in the home stretch to November 3 and vote for a pathway to accountability.

The Trump/Epstein Files

House Judiciary Committee Democrats released a 50-page report Monday morning accusing Donald Trump of participating in Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal sex schemes. The caucus also accused the Trump administration of a broad cover-up, designed to shield the president from blowback as it tried to roll out the release of the Epstein files to the general public.

The report cites the experiences of 11 women, FBI records, and documents released through the Epstein Files Transparency Act. At least five women accused Trump of rape or sexual assault in Epstein’s company, according to interviews conducted by the committee. Others said there were “apparent attempts” by Epstein and his longtime girlfriend and associate Ghislaine Maxwell to traffic them to the real estate magnate.

The report alleges that Trump was “an active participant in Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse of young women in the mid-to-late 1990s.” Although it also contains at least one entirely new allegation against the president, it provides no direct evidence other than the woman’s own conversations with Judiciary Committee staff.

The report includes uncorroborated allegations but also details discrepancies in Trump’s statements about Epstein.

White House Press Secretary on deck?

White House comms director Steven Cheung is floating the idea of Nicki Minaj and her ass becoming the next press secretary as the comms team released a strange video ahead of Nicki’s ass appearing on stage in Michigan on Sunday with the Ass-man President.

Trump at a rally in Port Huron, Michigan, remained fascinated with ass.

“By the way, I looked at one hell of a beautiful ass before: Nicki Minaj. That’s hard to miss,” Trump said, while referencing recent comments he’s made about the physique of Sen. Jon Husted (R-Ohio).

Islamaphobia is still hot-hot-hot in Trump Country.

Speaking at a rally in the state on Sunday, Trump accused El-Sayed of being “a jihadist.” He introduced exploited as a guest speaker the father of Todd Beamer, a passenger who fought back against the 9/11 hijackers.

Trump also suggested that El-Sayed would “have to go through a metal detector before he’s allowed to go into the Senate.”

“Norway Sucks, is a Shit House country” now because poor Trump didn’t get an award.

Trump cozies up to more supervillains.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk on Monday scoffed at a report that the Trump administration views former Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán as a candidate to be U.N. secretary-general.

Brazil celebrates, MAGA recycles the same old diatribe.
