Possible Pedo Protector, Jim (Gym) Jordan (Idiot- Ohio) formally announced he will seek the top Republican (con)job in the U.S. House of Representatives the day after his party suffered the worst shellacking since 2018 that even turned his home state blue.
In a letter to fellow GOPers, Jordan claimed he is “battle-tested on the oversight front and I know the Democrats’ playbook.”
“I know what it will take to lead our conference in the minority, to stay unified, and to coordinate and calibrate our response to the Democrats’ tactics. We need a Leadership team that is active and engaged, forward-thinking and straight-shooting,” wrote Jordan.
Jordan ran for the House Speaker in 2018 and in 2023, but couldn’t win over enough of his fellow Republicans to seal the deal. During his last bid for the job, several of his colleagues said they were turned off by Jordan and his allies’ hardball tactics.
