DHS Now Claims ICE Agent Who Killed Renee Good Suffered Internal Bleeding

The ICE agent who shot and killed Renee Good in Minneapolis one week ago suffered internal bleeding to the torso after the incident, according to two unnamed U.S. officials “with knowledge.” DHS confirmed the report on Wednesday.

The extent of the internal bleeding of ICE agent Jonathon Ross is unclear. Video of the incident showed Ross walking around appearing unharmed following the shooting that occurred on January 7.

Kristi Noem claimed that Ross was hospitalized, treated, and released following the shooting after Good rammed her vehicle at him and struck him in an act of domestic terrorism.

On Sunday, U.S. Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino said that Ross has received several death threats, and that he was “in a safe location,” recovering from his injuries.

In June, Ross was dragged by a vehicle during an attempted arrest and received 33 stitches and hospital care.
