Wall Street traders have made another run for the border with another Mexican food themed acronym for Trump’s foreign policy deadlock with Iran — NACHO, for “Not A Chance Hormuz Opens.”
Bloomberg columnist Javier Blas cited in a post to X a Wall Street trader who revealed the acronym to him on Wednesday.
The Strait of Hormuz, which traffics approximately 20% of the world’s oil supply, has seen shipping ground to a halt, sending shock waves through the global oil markets.
Meanwhile, Trump warned Iran that they better “get smart soon” with his team weighing their options, apparently including sending the mob boss himself to the region to meet his little friend, as referenced by the president’s social media post, seen below.
