Trump is heading to Walter Reed Hospital for an annual physical, which will be his third visit to the military hospital in the past 13 months.
As the oldest person to assume the presidency, the soon to be 80-year-old Oval Office resident is getting medical checks on his health issues that include swollen ankles, a bruised hand, a blotchy neck rash, and daytime sleepiness with nighttime restlessness. Also, we can likely expect a miraculous score on a cognitive test for dementia patients, which was last taken in October.
There is also a dental checkup on the schedule.
Trump was confused about whether he received an MRI or a CT scan at his last examination, and didn’t know which body part was being examined.
“Getting an MRI is very standard. What, you think I shouldn’t have it? Other people get it. … I had an MRI. The doctor said it was the best result he has ever seen as a doctor,” Trump said.
White House physician Sean Barbarella confirmed he had a CT scan that was perfectly normal of an unnamed body part and condition.
Barbarella also assured the public that the president’s swollen cankles condition was due to a common benign condition, the neck rash was being treated with a “preventative” skin cream, and his bruised hands were due to excessive hand-shaking.
Trump jokes about golfing as exercise, and his HHS Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr claims he walks nine miles each time he goes golfing.
