‘Be Afraid! Be Very, Very Afraid!’
Coming to grips with the fact they will more than likely lose the House of Representatives and possibly the US Senate in the mid-term election, the GOP and their KKKult leader, Mr. Trump, have ramped up their fear mongering machine because it has worked so well for them in the past with very little push-back from spineless Democratic candidates and party leaders.
In recent primaries, several Democratic Socialists have won the Democratic Party’s nomination, which has sent the GOP and some members of the Democratic Establishment into a frenzy. However, the GOP has equated the label, Democratic Socialist, with ‘communism’ because their hopelessly and willful ignorant base and others that drain their brains on Fox ‘News’ do not know any better.
The day after Melat Kiros defeated longtime Rep. Diana DeGette in Colorado’s 1st District race, Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tennessee) posted on Elmo’s X platform this with an accurate reply from Keith Olbermann:
Right-wing influencers and Republicans are talking about communism more than they were a year ago, according to a Washington Post analysis of public statements from high-profile figures on the political right, including social media posts and podcasts using data provided by the National Conference on Citizenship, a nonpartisan group that aims to strengthen civic life.
From January to June, they used the words “communism” or “communist” in an average of about 626 posts per week, up from around 439 per week during the same stretch last year — a 43 percent increase.
