Immediate after her liefest, Mrs. Leavitt faced ridicule and humiliation for the propaganda, RW cultural wars’ talking points, lies, and anti vaxxer garbage she spewed.

Leavitt’s comments about the economy run counter to reports from the government’s own Commerce Department, which showed that inflation surged to 3.5 percent over the last 12 months, its highest level in nearly three years. Inflation is now rising faster than wages for the first time since 2023, with annual wage gains averaging 3.2 percent.
