Multiple protesters were removed from the MAGA rally in San Antonio where Trump was trying to shore up support for his hand-picked Senate candidate Ken Paxton.
At least half a dozen protesters were removed from the arena. Some were assaulted physically by MAGAts, while others were verbally assaulted by Trump, who disparaged their appearance and said they were paid to be there “by the enemies of our nation.”
Trump briefly stepped away from the microphone after one protester appeared to approach the stage. “He’s going back home to mom,” he said after the man was removed. “But what he doesn’t know is his mom voted for Trump.”
