Running with the false narrative that our elections are not secure, except for the 2024 election that Trump won, The Fascist Felon and possible child rapist signed an Executive Order on Tuesday that will crack down on mail-in voting.
The order will create a nationwide list of verified eligible voters and to restrict mail-in voting and calls on the Department of Homeland Security, working with the Social Security Administration, to create lists of eligible voters in each state, according to the text released Tuesday.
It also seeks to bar the U.S. Postal Service from sending absentee ballots to people who are not on each state’s approved list, though voting law experts say the president likely lacks the power to mandate what the Postal Service does.
The order also calls for ballots to have secure envelopes with unique barcodes for tracking.
“What this executive order is going to do is, one, we are going to take federal data, we are going to ensure each state’s election officials are provided with a comprehensive view of who the eligible voters in their jurisdiction actually are, allowing them to properly verify whether everyone voting in their elections is legally able, and then it orders the U.S. Postmaster General to take bold new measures to verify the ballots being sent to people who are eligible to vote and that the ballots that are being returned are being properly returned by eligible voters only,” White House Staff Secretary Will Scharf said.
Nutlick Explains it All:
This is a massive and unconstitutional voter suppression effort aimed at giving Trump the power to create a list of who is allowed to vote by mail. We know where this will go — the targeting of Democrats for mass disenfranchisement. We will sue and we will win.

Bigly MAGAts Tweet Nonsense:
Trump v. Trump:
- Just last week, Trump bragged that “he won the presidency with mail-in ballots” but insisted he still hates them.
- This month, Trump also reportedly voted by mail-in ballot ahead of a special election in Palm Beach, Florida, according to multiple news outlets. The report came out one day after the president railed against the practice he called “mail-in-cheating.”
According to some legal scholars, (that would exclude ALL MAGAt lawyers that are still licensed to practice law), Trump lacks the authority and power to dictate how states run their elections. As such, the new executive order is certain to face a court challenge.
Welp, That Didn’t Take Long: Oregon one of first states to sue Trump for executive order restricting mail-in votes
Within minutes of the signing, top elections officials in Oregon and Arizona pledged to sue.
Oregon Secretary of State Tobias Read, a Democrat, said, “We don’t need decrees from Washington, D.C.” Read added: “My message to the President: We’ll see you in court.”
Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, also a Democrat, said Arizona’s vote-by-mail system was designed by Republicans and has delivered secure elections for decades, and that it is now used by 80% of voters. “Donald Trump is attempting to pick his desired list of voters in each state with the Social Security Administration’s help,” Fontes said. “We will not let this stand,” he added.
