The Daily Beast is reporting that Trump is planning a scripted “revenge attack” on the press at Friday’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner, confronting them before fleeing for the comfort of the White House.
The Daily Beast says the plans were leaked for Trump to attack the press he has seen as critical of his administration and his handling of the war in Iran, then bail before the press can respond.
There is also the matter of an award being given to the reporter at the Wall Street Journal who broke the news of the 50th birthday card Donald sent to his friend Jeffrey Epstein. Trump reportedly plans to Taco out before the embarrassing award presentation to Katherine Graham, whose exposé prompted Trump to sue the Wall Street Journal’s owner Rupert Murdoch. A federal judge tossed that lawsuit earlier this month.
