On Tuesday, several states held their primaries and numerous Trump endorsed MAGAts won the Republican nomination. They will face their Democratic challenger in the General Election on November 03, 2026. Georgia Lt. Gov. Burt Jones and billionaire Rick Jackson will advance to a June runoff in the state’s Republican primary for governor because neither secured the majority vote.
All eyes were on Kentucky’s Fourth Congressional District where Trump endorsed MAGAt Ed Gallrein, a former Navy SEAL, defeated incumbent and Trump critic, Thomas Massey.

Trump-backed Andy Barr wins GOP nomination for Mitch McConnell’s Senate seat in Kentucky. Barr will be a heavy general election favorite against the Democratic candidate, Charles Booker, who defeated Amy McGrath.. Kentucky has not elected a Democrat to the Senate since it awarded Wendell Ford a fourth and final term in 1992.

A three-way Republican primary pits two congressmen, Mike Collins and Buddy Carter, against a former football coach, Derek Dooley. The race, which is expected to go to a runoff, has largely boiled down to arguments about who would be the strongest general-election challenger to Senator Jon Ossoff, a popular Democrat.
Governor:
Former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms won the Democratic Party’s nomination and will face either Lt. Gov. Burt Jones or Rick Jackson. Since neither Republicans received over fifty percent of the vote, they will head to a runoff in June.
Alabama Primary Election Results:
Former football coach, ignorant, and racist MAGAt, Tommy Tuberville, will face former US Senator Doug Jones in November to become Alabama’s next governor.
Alabama has not had a Democratic governor since 1998.
