Mitch McConnell Provides Photo Evidence, Health Update

Mitch McConnell, 84, who has been hospitalized since June 14, finally provided a sad health update to the media on Sunday.

McConnell explained that he suffered a fall and a mild case of pneumonia, and remains fit to serve but cannot yet return to the Senate.

He did not provide comment on the death of Republican colleague, Lindsey Graham.

A provided photo shows the July 12 edition of the Washington Post.

The oddest part about McConnell’s statement, is it doesn’t mention Graham.

McConnell is a master of controlling a narrative and surrounded by plugged in staffers.

″Last month, I took a fall which landed me in the hospital,” McConnell said in the statement to his constituents. “My doctors have confirmed that I didn’t break any bones or suffer a concussion. I didn’t have a heart attack or a stroke. I don’t have any tumors or hemorrhages. But I was briefly unconscious and was taken to the hospital.”

McConnell also said he “had to deal with a mild case of pneumonia” while in the hospital.
