Trump was booed loudly by fans at Sunday’s World Cup final alongside FIFA president Gianni Infantino before taking part in the post-game trophy ceremony.

Trump, who watched Spain’s 1-0 victory over Argentina next to Infantino in a suite at MetLife Stadium, waved to the crowd as he walked on to the field, but as cameras cut to him, boos and whistles began to drown out the music filling the stadium. They were audible on the television broadcast and even more so in the stadium.
