“This is a vote of conscience. This is a vote that requires us to find the strength to do what is right for the American people, and to send the clearest, even stronger message to this president of the United States that the United States Congress, the House of Representatives, is reasserting our authority over war. This war must end,” Jayapal said in remarks on the House floor Wednesday ahead of the vote.
In a 214-208 victory, the Clown House voted to pass a Democratic-backed war powers resolution aimed at limiting Trump’s military action in Iran. Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) sponsored the bill and four GOPers, Tom Barrett (Mich.), Warren Davidson (Ohio), Thomas Massie (Ky.) and Brian Fitzpatrick (Pa.), jointed members of the Democratic Party to pass it. It now goes to the Senate and may or may not pass. More than likely, John Fetterman will join his buddies in the GOP to tank it. The vote comes only a few days after the DUI hire, Pete Hegseth, begged Congress for more money to finance this stupidity.
Just yesterday, Trump claimed that a poll came out (he never mentioned what this poll is or who conducted it) claiming that Americans support his stupid, costly, and deadly war with Iran; they do not.
Fact Check: FALSE!
Even his MAGAt base doesn’t support his stupid war:
Half of President Donald Trump’s MAGA base thought the Iran war was worth its economic costs in May. Now, just a little more than a third do.
That precipitous, 13-point drop in just two months, according to a new POLITICO Poll, reveals how the president’s most die-hard supporters are starting to agree with the majority of Americans who have long opposed the U.S.’ involvement in the war.
Only a McMAGAt Would Believe this Garbage:
Trump: "It was a word made up by the Democrats — 'affordability'"

One of the Puppet Masters:
So Netanyahu met with Trump today and now Trump is threatening to bomb Iran again. Amazing how that happens.
