Trump Still Hounding Jeanine Pirro Over the Reflecting Pool Charges

Trump declared on Truth Social on Friday that DC Federal Attorney Jeanine “Boxwine” Pirro should re-visit her bad decision to drop criminal charges against those falsely accused of vandalizing the Reflecting Pool.

Trump shared photos that he claims show cuts in expansion joints on the side of the pool, and claims there were witnesses to vandalism that caused the failure of the project. Pirro debunked the claims, and pointed the blame at Doug Burgum, who was supposed to oversee the project that was botched by contractors.

On Friday, the New York Times reported that the reflecting pool project was overseen by the manager of one of the president’s golf clubs.

The Times report showed that the Trump administration was willing to “skirt laws, expend millions of dollars, ignore facts and punish truth tellers” to get the job done — and was ultimately doomed from its inception.
