So, CA’s relentless and crippling heat has returned (well, it really never left) and the state is still on fire. We’re all staying indoors, with the AC blasting, because the air is filled with smoke and it really does cause health issues, some mild some more severe. My sinuses are fried!
Trump just declared a national emergency and has promised aid, despite just a few days ago he said he would not because we haven’t cleaned our floors properly. Someone must have told him that if he deprives CA of the needed funds, the US, as a whole, will slide further into despair. Yeah, that whole ‘donor state’ concept that he and other wing nuts do not grasp.
Speaking of wing nuts, get ready to rumble! The RNKKK will hold their convention next week; that should be entertaining, in a warped and twisted way.
But, that should also serve as a reminder to all of us: 72 Days to vote that incompetent buffoon out of office. GET OUT THE VOTE!
