Hundreds of those who attended the Omaha, Nebraska, Trump rally were left stranded in the cold as Air Force One departed the airfield Tuesday night.
Long lines piled up for buses to take them to distant parking lots as roads were jammed with traffic. Many elderly MAGA-rally attendees were left stranded in near freezing temperatures when police began shuttling the most at-risk people to their cars and warmth.
At least seven people were taken to hospitals.
The Trump campaign insisted they had arranged for plenty of buses and blamed the problem on traffic flow. Approximately 6,000 people had gathered.
While the campaign said temperatures were checked and masks were handed out, few were wearing masks.
