U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan, the Ohio Republican who is one of President Donald Trump’s most loyal supporters and is backing the effort to undo the 2020 election results, is in line to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom, according to reports.
Jordan is expected to receive the medal, the nation’s highest civilian honor, sometime next week, although plans have not been finalized, The Washington Post reports. U.S. Rep. Devin Nunes of California, also a loyal ally to the president, will receive the award on Monday, Jan. 4, CNN reports.
