At News Views, we’re always trying something to get y’all out here talking. This week, I’ve presented an issue that pretty affects all of us. Many of us are returning to work or we have kids who have returned to school. How does that make you feel? I don’t have school age children but I know that if I did, my kids would still be at home, safe, and not around a bunch of other kids, in a school that does not have the proper ventilation to combat or mitigate the virus. Furthermore, vaccines will SOON start but have not hit our school age children yet. I would not do this; my kids would be at home until at least the fall.
So for those of you who have school age children who have returned to school, how have you handled the situation? Do you worry? Have kids tested positive and what is your school doing to handle positive cases or mitigate the situation?
Have you returned to work? If so, how do you feel about returning to work? Is it safe? What is your employer’s policy on keeping everyone safe? Do you miss being at home?

It appears, we’re entering our ‘new normal ‘but I really don’t believe any of us know what that ‘new normal is’…including our fearless leaders.
