Two Portland residents are facing assault charges after attacking an employee of Crumb Together, a downtown Eugene bakery on Wednesday.
Ricki Collin, 34, and Amy Hall, 45, are facing third-degree assault charges, a felony, after recording their encounter and showing the incident to police officers.
Collin also faces charges of robbery after stealing the bat from the woman attacked, as well as another open trespassing case in Washington County, with seven misdemeanors including trespassing with possession of a firearm.
The two have a history of anti-masking confrontations that have led to police intervention.
The public has shown support for Crumb Together, who have since turned off their online store while trying to keep pace with orders.
Guess that’s how the cookie crumbles.
