AG Letitia James to make major announcement at 11:30 a.m.

What’s the announcement? Unknown until 11:30, though the expectation is Trump related. …

AG James moved the time from 10:30 to 11:30 this morning to avoid a time conflict with President Biden’s speech to the UN.

New York Attorney General Letitia James is set to make a major announcement on Wednesday morning.

Details about the announcement have not yet been released. Her announcement, which is expected at 11:30 a.m. ET, will stream live here.

James has been investigating the Trump organization.

She has previously said her office uncovered “significant” evidence “indicating that the Trump Organization used fraudulent or misleading asset valuations to obtain a host of economic benefits, including loans, insurance coverage and tax deductions.”

Former President Donald Trump has decried the investigation as politically motivated.

Last month, Trump showed up for questioning under oath in the state’s civil investigation into his business practices. But he quickly made clear he wouldn’t be answering and invoked the Fifth Amendment’s protection against self-incrimination.
