Trump endorser and Florida Rep. Byron Donalds called on his state to “correct” its new standards for teaching Black history, specifically that slaves benefitted by learning skills through forced labor.
The office of Florida’s Napoleon was not pleased.
Donalds is the only Black Republican member of Florida’s congressional delegation.
Poor Uncle Byron endorsed the Florida Board of Education’s new standards — that prohibits school instruction from suggesting anyone is privileged or oppressed based on their race or skin color — but dared to suggest that slavery as a gift to produce skills was a bit over the top. Donald’s was compared to Vice President Kamala Harris, who told Floridians that their extremist leaders were grooming pushing propaganda to children.
