TFG Wants to End DEI; His Failing Media and Technology Company has a DEI Policy

While promising to his KKKult he will end Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) “policies which attempt to make work environments fair, open to all, and free from racism” and cut off government funding for DEI programs, guess who’s failing company, Trump Media and Technology Group which runs Truth Social, has a DEI program in place? Yes, Don Snorleone’s failing company has a DEI policy.

Trump has also pledged to seize the endowments of any institution of higher learning that is practicing equity. This rhetoric has played well with his base. White nationalists are big fans of Trump’s anti-DEI rhetoric, and Trump’s allies have used anti-DEI rhetoric to attack marginalized groups, calling professionals they don’t like, “DEI hires.”

MeidasTouch:

DEI has become the new ‘N’ word for MAGAts who somehow feel threatened by people who do not look like them. They also believe the only way a person who does not look like them—Read: crusty, white, ‘Christian’ male— obtained employment in a position of power or landed a well paying job—Read: Anything above a custodian or barista—was because of DEI. In their world, only white males are supposed to hold positions of power (like judges and DAs) or earn a good living.

In September of 2020, the Orange Ass issued an Executive Order “that directly threatened the ongoing efforts to address racial disparities in the workplace, It affected government agencies, nonprofits, and any other institution that had federal contracts or plans to apply for them. The stated purpose of the order was to ‘combat offensive and anti-American race and sex stereotyping.’”

During his first day in office, President Biden overturned TFG’s racist 💩 and issued his own order, “Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government,” which “not only rescinded the diversity training restrictions but also required all agencies to prioritize and create opportunities for communities that have been historically underserved: ‘By advancing equity across the federal government, we can create opportunities for the improvement of communities that have been historically underserved, which benefits everyone.’”
