Coinciding with the return-to-work of federal staffers, hackers rolled out a 19-second video of Trump kissing the feet of Elon Musk to greet Department of Housing and Urban Development workers on Monday morning.
The fake AI video was played on a loop for five minutes on screens throughout the building.
“Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs,” it was reported.
“Long live the real king,” the footage depicted, as the video showed the president enthusiastically kissing the feet of DOGEbag King Elmo.
The original footage included sound effects.
HUD spokesperson Kasey Lovett said, “Another waste of taxpayer dollars and resources. Appropriate action will be taken for all involved.”
