House GQPers Told to Stop Holding Town Halls

Republican held town halls have not gone well for them in the last few weeks, including in red districts. We the People do not approve of all the proposed budget cuts to finance major tax cuts for people who do not need them, the wealthy and well connected. We the People also do not approve of the unelected nor confirmed to anything, co-president, Elon Musk.

So, how does ‘leadership’ resolve this bigly issue? Tell these craven assholes to stop holding town hall meetings, at least not in the traditional sense. Party leaders have told fellow GQPers to hold tele-town halls or at least vet attendees to avoid scenes that become viral clips, or complete shit shows.

The town halls, and the rash of negative headlines, have been the first bit of public blowback for members who face voters next year. And the new reluctance to hold them indicates there are bubbling concerns about the impact the cuts could have on the GOP’s chances of holding its thin majority in the House next year.

Moses Mike, who cannot face the realization that We the People are not into their massive budget cuts, mass firings, and total chaos, went so far as to call the attendees, ‘paid protesters.’ Of course he offered no proof of his claim because gaslighting, spinning, and downright lying are to be expected from these craven assholes.

71 percent of Trump voters oppose Medicaid cuts: Poll

Most President Trump voters say they oppose any cuts to Medicaid as Republican lawmakers wrestle with how to reach up to $2 trillion in budget cuts through their reconciliation bill, a poll released Monday found.

The poll from Hart Research conducted for the nonprofit Families Over Billionaires, which advocates in opposition to tax cuts for the wealthy, found 71 percent of voters who backed Trump said cutting Medicaid would be unacceptable. Voters overall were even more opposed to it, with 82 percent saying so.

Six in 10 Trump voters also said cutting food and nutrition programs would be unacceptable.

FACT CHECK: GQP Lies About Cuts to Medicaid

The bill tasks the Energy and Commerce Committee, which oversees Medicaid and Medicare, with finding $880 billion in cuts, putting millions of Americans’ health care in jeopardy. No matter what Republicans may say this vote means, it will end in draconian cuts to Medicaid.
