Trump loses another asylum ruling

U.S. District Judge Randolph Moss ruled against a Trump administration policy that only allows immigrants who enter through a designated port of entry the right to seek asylum. Judge Moss found Trump’s policy violated the Administrative Procedures Act and “inconsistent with” the Immigration and Nationality Act.

Last week, a federal judge in San Francisco blocked the policy, which the Trump administration appealed. The case is now with the 9th Circuit Court.
