CNN’s State of the Union host Jake Tapper called out Texas Governor Abbot, Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, Senators John Cornyn and Ted Cruz as well as Rep. Kevin McCarthy for declining to appear on his show to discuss the the recent mass shootings in Ohio and Texas. Ohio Governor DeWine also declined while Moscow Mitch McConnell didn’t reply.
However, Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick did appear on Fox News and claimed video games teach kids “to kill.”
As of today, the United States has had 251 mass shootings. We’re only at day 216 of 2019.
