Trump’s tweets and tariffs causing economic instability

The DOW fell nearly 400 points after Trump threatened China on Twitter. Trump claimed the United States and China have been negotiating a trade deal but both countries appear to be just levying retaliatory tariffs on one another.

Trump also accused the country of wanting to drag out negotiations until after the 2020 election in hopes of negotiating with a new administration and receiving a better deal because Trump’s bigly tough.

Trump was quick to note that China’ economy is “crumbling” because they won’t make a deal with the U.S..  However, he wasn’t so quick to note that the DOW fell 400 points, manufacturing shrank in August to its lowest level since January 2016, and the average American consumer has grown more concerned with the impact of the trade war.

Who will be Trump' running mate?
