Trump continued his Vengeance Tour on Tuesday and told reporters the military should consider further disciplinary actions against LTC Vindman. Vindman provided damning evidence against Trump during the impeachment hearing, which resulted in Trump sending him back to the Pentagon after Senate Republicans acquitted him.
“We sent him on his way to a much different location, and the military can handle him any way they want. Gen. Milley has him now. I congratulate Gen. Milley. He can have him.”
Trump did leave the decision entirely up to the military but added or hinted the following:
“But if you look at what happened, they’re going to certainly, I would imagine, take a look at that.”
