Global Google outtage

Google are currently suffering a massive global outage that is causing Google-account related services to no longer function. Among the affected services are search, email, storage and YouTube.

This is not the first time Google has suffered from an worldwide service interruption. On August 20, 2020, over a period of approximately six hours, a similar global outage abruptly disrupted Google’s suite of services including GMail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Meet, and Google Voice.

Update (4:30am PST) : The Google Workspace Status Dashboard seems to indicate that the outage is across the platform at large.

Update 2 (4:38am PST) : Services appear to have partially recovered.
