So the 78th Golden Globes Awards Happened….

After a nearly two-month delay due to the pandemic, the 78th Golden Globes happened last night, with Amy Poehler on the East coast and Tiny Fey on the West coast hosting virtually. We had movies? Who knew?

Netflix overwhelmed the pack with 42 nominations.

The Crown was nominated for six categories and won four — best drama, best actress, best actor and best supporting actress in a television series.

Nomadland won best picture and best director for motion picture/drama.

Borat Subsequent Moviefilm won best musical or comedy, and Sacha Baron Cohen thanked a rising star, Rudy Giuliani.

Andra Day won Best Actress in a motion picture/drama for her portrayal of Billie Holiday.

Chadwick Boseman won posthumuously for his Best Actor performance in the motion picture/drama Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.
