During a recent appearance on the evangelical network the Victory Channel, former Minnesota GOP congresswoman Michele Bachmann said that people should “resist” the effort to vaccinate the U.S. population against covid.
“I’ve had five biological and 23 foster children that we’ve raised. Over 40 percent of all children in the United States have already had covid. Children have almost a zero rate of dying from covid, so this is not a problem,” she continued. “Just when covid is really being extinguished across the United States to enforce mandates on little children’s bodies with an experimental drug that could alter their life forever — people need to wake up and think, push back and say no against this government.”
According to the CDC, covid vaccine trials showed that “vaccination was nearly 91 percent effective in preventing COVID-19 among children aged 5-11 years,” and vaccine side effects in children “were mild, self-limiting, and similar to those seen in adults and with other vaccines recommended for children. The most common side effect was a sore arm.”
Michele says “wake up out of our stupor. Just because this government says something doesn’t mean we have to follow it.”
