J.Michael Luttig, a retired federal judge appointed by George HW Bush, will testify in today’s January 6 Committee Hearing. Ahead of his testimony, the former judge issued a statement condemning the actions of TFG’s “attempts to overturn the 2020 election, saying Trump and his allies “instigated” a war on democracy “so that he could cling to power.”
Luttig outlined in his statement how close he believed democracy came to the brink.”
