Paul Pelosi was attacked in a targeted home break-in according to San Francisco Police Department by a suspect known as David Depape, 42, of Berkeley. The suspect was first identified by a reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle, and later confirmed by police.
Police responded to the home in the Pacific Heights area at 2:27am.
NBC reports that officers arrived at the home to perform a welfare check and found the suspect and Pelosi holding a hammer then saw him attack Pelosi, 82, with the hammer.
The intruder who attacked Mr. Pelosi in the couple’s San Francisco home confronted him, shouting, “Where is Nancy, where is Nancy?
The US Capitol Police issued a statement that the Speaker was in Washington with her detail when the attack happened.
Depape was on a blog and website where he was fixated on censorship and made anti-Semitic comments.
Depape ranted about censorship by the “elites” and “ruling class.”
He is also described as a hemp jewelry maker.
He wrote a blog called ‘Welcome to Big Brothers Censorship Hell’
The blog contains several black graphics with the word “censorship” stamped in them.
The reason we have a first amendment is because censorship only applies to you. The elites/ruling class never censor themselves. You can still turn on any mainstream news channel to hear day and night the narrative put forth by the people who rule you. The founding father built in protection against censorship coming from the goverment because they never imagined a day when Tech giants and private industry would be so powerful they could single handedly silence the people.
Depape has children with a well-known pro-nudity activist named Gypsy Taub.
Taub’s Facebook page says she is from Moscow and is “the homeless youth director at Jerry Garcia Family Healing Clinic.”
