Rise and shine, News Viewers and election followers, it’s another brand new day of waiting for election results. Yippeee!!
Grab your coffee mug and join back in where we left off. Coffee Talk is here for it, and any other chit-chat at the top of your sleepy heads. I admit, I had trouble falling asleep again last night, but slept an extra half hour. I’m almost over Tuesday’s all-nighter. Okay, half-nighter.
It’s free chat at Coffee Talk with a sideline topic for fun.
Today’s Topic
Welcome to the News Views Board Meeting.
Charcuterie Board, that is.
How can we have a proper discussion without something to snack? I’m sure you’ve seen these creations of tasty delectables artfully arranged on a wooden board.
- Charcuterie (shar-KOO-ta-REE) is a specific term with origins reaching as far back as 15th century France; literally translated, it means the products of a fancy pork butcher.
The base of these snack boards is usually cured meats, paired with cheeses, fruits and olives, nuts, crackers or breads, jellies or jams, or dipping sauces.
It’s a virtual pot-luck build-a-board Charcuterie party at News Views this morning. What would you want to bring?
We all like to bring our favorites to pot-luck, so other than yourselves and some good conversation, what will you make sure we don’t run out of because it’s your favorite?
I’ll bring the coffee, and this mustard is my contribution I don’t want to be without — sweet and spicy.
As always, this is Thursday’s free chat session — so bring your thoughts, questions, rants, cat pics and cartoons along. Have a great Thursday and enjoy your free chat!
