Ivanka Says She’s Taking a Break From Politics

Ivanka Trump, who became a formal adviser during her daddy’s administration, says she’s taking a break from politics, and doesn’t plan to be involved in the upcoming 2024 Trump campaign.

“I love my father very much. This time around I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics. While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena. I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people and I will always be proud of many of our Administration’s accomplishments.”

Ivanka was not at the bigly event at Mar-a-Lago when her daddy announcement his campaign launch. Tiffany Trump, who was married over the weekend, also did not attend. Ivanka’s husband Jared, 41, was at the event, but it’s not clear whether he will take part in the campaign.

In June, Ivanka spoke with the January 6 Committee and explained that she accepted Bill Barr’s statement that the election was not stolen in 2020.
