Paul Pelosi’s alleged attacker’s bizarre phone call to local Bay Area TV Station

On Friday, Paul Pelosi’s alleged attacker, David DePape, called Bay Area Fox affiliate, KTVU, from the San Francisco County Jail; the same day video of the violent attack was released.

The conversation lasted just under five and a half minutes. KTVU’s reporter was not allowed to challenge his statements or to ask follow-up questions. DePape said he didn’t want to jeopardize his case. He’s facing state charges of attempted murder and elder abuse, as well as charges in federal court for kidnapping.

He pretty much admitted to attacking Paul Pelosi because “people’s individual liberties are under attack.” He also issued an apology but not for attacking the elderly man but for not going further.
