Lindsey Graham Booed at S.C. Trump Rally

Lindsey Graham was met by a continuous drone of boos when he took the stage before Trump at a rally in his home state of South Carolina on Saturday.

Lindsey sarcastically thanked the crowd, and then explained his complicated relationship with Trump.

“It took a while to get there folks, but let me tell you what happened,” Graham said Saturday. “I’ve come to like President Trump, and he likes himself, and we’ve got that in common. And I’m going to help him become president of the United States.”

Lindsey Graham was slow to warm up to the idea of a President Trump.

In the 2016 campaign, Lindsey called trump a nutjob, loser, and a “race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot.”

Lindsey soon became Trump’s lapdog during his presidency, a fierce ally, until he faltered following the January 6 riots at the Capitol building.

But more recently he’s back on the Trump Train, and even bet former Senator Al Franken $20 that Trump would defeat Biden in 2024.

Trump defended his golfing buddy after Lindsey pounded the podium and gave up.

“We’re going to love him,” Trump said of Graham. “I know it’s half and half, but when I need some of those liberal votes, he’s always there to help me get them. We’ve got some pretty liberal people, but he’s good. We know the good ones.”
